Description
These pictures are of the afflicted area in Harvest, Alabama. While these pictures are painful, and devastating, they are not the worst of the storm. I was allowed in only because I was a Red Cross Volunteer and got special permissions to take these pictures.
This is all along one road and it is terrible to see the lives of people just blown over roads and fields, and it hurts my heart to remember the many doors propped on their sides with numbers spray painted over them in red paint detailing the number of fatalities each house suffered.
If you would like to know more about the Tornado that struck over 30 counties and more than three different states go here: Learn More About the April/May Tornados
If you would like to donate to the Red Cross go here: Donate To The Red Cross Here!
Or
Get on your cell phones and Text: REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10
Or
You can call 1-800-RED-CROSS and donate that way.
